"Not worth the price in my opinion"
I was expecting a bit more for the price. As a customer, it felt like the prices on asahi-america.com were high compared to the quality and service I received. Nothing was outright awful, but for what we’re paying, I think a lot of customers would expect better overall value. I probably wouldn’t order again unless the pricing comes down or the experience improves

I had a hard time finding what I needed on the site. Everything felt kind of clunky and not very intuitive, so I spent more time clicking around than actually getting anything done. I also started to wonder if there were hidden fees somewhere because the pricing/details weren’t super clear to me.

"Lead times were way too long"
I ordered from Asahi America and the wait ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. The lead time I was given at the start didn’t really line up with how long it actually took, so I kept having to check in and basically practice patience I did not sign up for.
I understand delays can happen, but this dragged on long enough to throw off my schedule. I would’ve appreciated them being more upfront about the timing before taking the order instead of leaving me stuck waiting and hoping for updates.

"My distributor really dropped the ball"
I had a frustrating experience with the distributor support. I reached out expecting some basic help, but they were slow to respond and when they finally did, it felt like they weren’t really trying to solve anything. it seemed like they just passed me around instead of taking responsibility

Most of the time they have the parts I’m looking for, which is a big help. There was one item that ended up being backordered, so I did wonder if I should’ve checked around more first, but the overall experience has been good.

"Didn’t hold up like I expected"
I was disappointed with these parts. They started breaking down way too quickly with the chemicals we use, so we ended up having to replace them not long after installing them. I tried looking into it, but dealing with automated help systems just made the whole thing more frustrating. I’d rather talk to a real person when something fails this fast.

"packaging Was Bad"
The box showed up looking all beat up, and a couple of the items inside had scratches on them. not what I was expecting at all. They really need to do a Better job with the packaging

"Catalog is harder to navigate than it should be"
I tried using the Asahi America catalog to look up a few pipe and valve parts, it was more confusing than I expected. The names, specs, and sections don’t really line up in a way that feels easy to follow.
I kept clicking around just to find basic info, and then an email I had seemed to say one thing while the catalog made it look like another, which only added to the confusion. Maybe the details are all in there, but it could definitely be clearer for regular buyers trying to find the right parts.

"Engineering support didn’t really help"
I reached out to engineering support hoping to get some clear answers, but it didn’t really go anywhere. The replies took a while and felt vague, like they were trying to steer around the actual issue instead of just saying what was going on. Maybe I’m reading into it, but it almost felt like they were trying to close the ticket without getting too deep into the problem. I ended up more confused than when I started, so overall it wasn’t a great experience.

"Not exactly the most helpful training resources"
I went to asahi-america.com hoping to find some decent training resources, and well, let’s just say it wasn’t the smoothest experience. The information was kind of hard to follow and didn’t feel all that useful if you’re trying to learn something quickly. Some parts were so basic they barely helped, while other sections somehow managed to skip the details you actually need. I was expecting clearer guides or maybe some helpful videos, but instead I ended up more confused than when I started. So yeah, not really a great experience for me.

I had a frustrating time trying to get these parts to work with our existing setup. On paper, the specs looked close enough, but once we actually tried to install everything, the fittings didn’t line up the way we expected. I reached out to support, but the answer I got was vague and didn’t really help much. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely felt like a waste of time for our situation. We ended up buying elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re dealing with a mixed piping system

They do have a good range of products, more than I expected. I was able to find the piping parts I needed without too much trouble, which was great. That said, a few of the categories weren’t the easiest to browse, and I did feel a little ignored when I needed help figuring things out. Overall though, the selection is solid

I ordered some fittings from Asahi for a repair job, and they have been holding up well so far. It has been a few weeks now with no leaks, which was the main thing I was worried about. Shipping was a little slower than I expected, but everything still worked out fine in the end

I got my order and a few things weren’t what I asked for. If it had just been a small swap, I probably wouldn’t have minded, but in this case it affected the meal, so it was disappointing...

I got my quote fast and the whole process was easy enough. There was one small delay, but nothing major. I’ve been loyal to another brand for a while, so I’m a little conflicted, but this definitely made a good impression.

"Maintenance is honestly way more annoying than it needs to be"
I bought some parts from Asahi America for a small system update, and the maintenance side has been really frustrating. Nothing feels easy to reach, and the instructions weren’t very helpful at all.
Even simple checks ended up taking way longer than they should have because the whole setup is just awkward. Maybe it runs fine once everything is installed, but servicing it is a total hassle. I really don’t see myself buying from them again.

"Couldn’t get straight answers on compliance"
I was ready to order, but I needed to check the compliance docs first. The site made it way harder than it should’ve been to find current certs or clear regulatory info, and support didn’t really help much either. For a product like this, that’s kind of on them, so I ended up walking away.
